Ice Cold Fishing

Chad is a hard core fisherman and Hayden is following in his footsteps. It's been starting to feel like spring in the valley so Chad took us all fishing at Tibble Fork. It's not spring up the canyon. There are still piles of snow and a little bit of ice left on the lake. We fished in a different spot because our regular spot is still ice covered. The boys were bundled up, Ty even wore his snow pants, but it was still windy and cold.

We fished for a couple hours. Chad caught six, Hayden caught five, Ty caught one and some seaweed that he insists on counting. I sat in my chair and did sudoku puzzles with my mittens on and my hood up.This was the smallest fish of the day.
Hayden really does love it. He is incredibly patient while he waits for bites on his line. We have been waiting to get him a fly rod and I think he's ready.
