As part of our Fourth of July celebration my family held the first annual
Olywood Regatta. Everyone was invited to create a boat to sail at Smith and
Morehouse reservoir. It was a blast! We had five boats participate. Ours was really simple, we build a square frame out of two by fours and screwed a piece of plywood on top. We put the whole thing on top of an old inflatable camping air
mattress.

It was really stable and pretty fast - we came in second place.
It floated well - it had nine adults on it before it sunk.
Bryan and Whitney won the race. They get to have the awesome traveling trophy at their house this year.
