Diabetes Update

A year ago today Ty was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. It has been a crazy journey learning about controlling his blood sugar levels and keeping him healthy. He is such a strong and responsible boy. He would rather not have diabetes, but he has taken it all in stride. Last week he got hooked up to his pump. It delivers the insulin straight into his body, so he no longer needs to have six or seven shots a day. Later this summer Team Tyson will be participating in the JDRF walk to raise money for diabetes research.
