Dirt Cake

The boys decided to play a trick on Chad for April Fools day. We were trying to think of something fun to do and I mentioned that we could make dad a dirt cake for dessert. We make dirt cake with chocolate pudding, oreo crumbs and gummy worms. Tyson thought it would be funny to make Chad a "real" dirt cake. We had potting soil in the garage, so I went along with it. The dirt is in the white bowl and the crumbs are in the blue dish. It was uncanny how similar they looked. Chad played along really well. He dished a huge helping of real dirt cake into his bowl and was pretending to take a bite when Hayden whispered one, two, three....and we all yelled April Fools. Then we ate the yummy pudding and oreos.
